Who I am

My name is Alex. I was born and grew up in Rome (Italy). I work as a city tour coordinator, interpreter and business coordinator.
I always loved to travel around the world, know new places and meet everytime different people. It's one of the best ways to learn, get experienced and create your own knowledge about life. Much better than what you can learn by reading books, watching TV or internet.
Neverthelass, travelling in Italy may not be that simple. Especially for those people who don't have much time to spend and don't speak a word of italian.
Long queues at the entrance of monuments, lack of tourist information, pickpockets, gipsies, streetsellers around each corner represent some of Rome's most frequent hassles.
Since I have been working in tourism field for more than 20 years, you would probably appreciate sharing this enormous wealth of experience. Here, you will find many suggestions about city tours and optional tours (Naples, Pompei, Capri and Sorrento) for individuals or small groups, rent-a-car with professional driver, tour guide and tour assistant services. I will also provide tips about restaurants, bars, shopping malls, interesting places off the beaten tracks and so on.
Hopefully, this blog will help you to optimize the time of your stay here, avoiding unpleasant experiences and waste of time.
